Moving to Bradford

Hi I'm moving from Manchester to Bradford and I was just wondering what's the best and safest area in Bradford please..?

Depends on your budget and where your place of work/schools are? There are plenty of very nice areas in and around Bradford.

Like NannyR said, it depends where you want to be. The nicest bits are on the outskirts but some are more accessible than others.

Does depend on your budget. Baildon, Keightley, Bingley. Parts of Leeds like Horseforth are not to far from Bradford. I've always liked Calverley. I've no idea about schools in this places. Do you need to think about schools?

Saltaire is lovely!

Theres loads of really nice areas as you head up the Aire Valley from Bradford itself. Bingley is really nice, as are some areas of Keighley.

Also Baildon, Menston, Ilkley if you don't mind heading further out - although some of those are Leeds postcodes and are a bit pricey. If I had to live in a Bradford postcode I would choose Saltaire. Nice primary, fab park, lots of cafes and independent shops. Good train links to Bradford and Leeds too. Depends on what you are after though.

Saltaire is nice & on the train line into Bradford (and near to Shipley for trains to Leeds also), Baildon is lovely too but not so accessible.

Depending on your budget you could go for Guisley, Menston, Ilkley as again all have trains to Bradford. Calverley has a great "villagey" feel to it - my friends almost bought there a few years ago and it's helpfully close to both Bradford and Leeds.
