Samsung quartz worktops!?!

Samsung suddenly seem to have invaded all areas of the home...I saw a thread earlier extolling the virtues of their laundry & v long warranties, and now I have seen some quartz worktops by them; what I was looking for and a bit cheaper than compaq, silestone, caesarstone, si I'm wondering if any kitchen experts can tell me if they are any good or any owners' opinions?

Arenastone, Cimstone etc are the second tier of quartz products, cheaper than the main brands. Good products, but expect less colour consistency. Often not cheaper than silestone due to larger slab availability in silestone.

Chinese quarts are the 3rd tier of suppliers. Its a jungle out there. be careful.

I sort of wondered about that - don't know whether samsung quartz is chinese or not? It just was the nicest one to suit our white cabinets.

Samsung is pretty decent actually but not necessarily that much cheaper than Silestone.
