dealing with scratches on laminate flooring (rented property)

We are in rented and have been for 6 months between selling and buying. We're due to move out next week (fingers crossed, TBC by solicitor) and I am now looking at ensuring we get every penny of our £1200 (GULP!!) rental deposit back as we will need it for work on the new house.
The dining room and conservatory are floored with poor quality dark laminate and it has marked really badly, despite putting felt pads on all furniture, instructing DC not to bang toys on floor etc. Is there any 'cure' for this?! I'm thinking some magical buff / polish type thing that will make the inventory clerk tick the right box when he walks round?!
Thanks!

Repair kits in B and Q and Homebase - like wax crayons with buffing pads.

You can buy wood repair 'crayons' (try amazon maybe?) that you can fill/colour in scratches with - might these work?
When we lived in rented our cats scratched the dark wood banisters by climbing on them and I managed to cover them up using teak oil (bit of a fluke experiment) but that was real wood so might not work on laminate. Worth a try though.
