In the final stages of kitchen planning. We are going for light cream cabinets, wood work top and slate flooring, so essentially the blue kitchen with slate coloured floors.
I've heard so many mixed things on slate floors. I don't mind if they are cold, we both wear slippers. Any recommendations for slate style flooring? We have a dog, so should be pee/sick friendly. Should the flooring be out down before the cabinets?
Also, we would love a real wood worktop, but I am rather splashy when washing up and I know it will be ruined. Any recommendations for laminate wood style worktops that look/ feel as authentic as possible, or am I dreaming?!
