Nice off white colour

Have a couple of fitted bookcases/cupboards to paint in living room and dining room. Just want them to blend in with what will eventually be neutral decor. Sort of think that Brilliant White white (which we will eventually do the other paintwork in) will be a bit, well, brilliant, so was thinking of an off white.

Given that there are millions to choose from (I think we had Dulux Rice Paper and Calico in our last house for walls/cupboards), can you recommend any in particular.

Think we'll go for Satinwood finish.

I've just used Dulux timeless in my bedroom. V pleased with the colour.

I like Pointing by F and B in an eggshell finish. I think brilliant white can be harsh so I would recommend a slightly softer white. I would look at Slipper Satin with Wimborne White.

Farrow and Ball is nice paint but it's £40 for 2.5l. I looked at pointing for my hall but opted for dimity in the end as the pointing was too light.

I used aged white by crown for the downstairs of our house.
