New Valliant boiler cost/installation

Just received a quote for 4k to install one of these - Vaillant Eco Tec Plus 831 with 7 warranty.

Current boiler is 14 years old and I know that pipework will need to be changed to modern standards, also needs plume making higher and an adjustment to the current gas meter because of the size of the cooker (here when we moved in recently).

The quote looks very thorough, although based on what we paid 8 years ago, I was expecting it to be about a grand less.

We're in London (zone 3). Is this the going rate, or shall I get other quotes?

TIA

We have (I think, it's definitely a valiant Eco tec plus one) the same boiler, ours was installed about 3 yrs ago and cost was £3k, included moving pipes, new pipes and new outlet as we were moving the location. It included an outside temp control thing and thermostat. The warranty was only 2yrs though. We're also in London.

sounds a bit high to me,I'm based in east london and am having my boiler changed and all radiators upgraded with the valiant plus 824 for £3950, we are in zone 4.

We paid 3200 for a Worcester (which was recommended on here over the Valiant which we were originally going to go for) with all new plumbing and 8 rads last May. We were quoted 2800 for the Valiant.
