Returned to London after (wet) few days away and living room wall is cracked and covered in large wet patches

That's it really.

We've just returned from my parents, missing a few days of horrendous weather in London.

Were in the top half of a maisonette, the living room has an external wall. We have returned to find a crack and huge damp patches on the wall near the to. I would link a picture but not sure how to do this from my phone. We don't have access to outside space so it's not possible to see if the outside wall is damp/cracked.

We had a slight problem with damp in the bathroom ( also an external wall) over the winter but we had the gutters cleared which seems to have solved it.

Who is the best person to call about this? A damp proof specialist or roofer?

Roofer probably. We have a small flat roof over our box bay and also had a leak in the recent storms. We knew the roof needed work and that the chimney is also letting damp in but have been to disorganised to do anything about it until prompted by rain falling in our bedroom Shock.
