Hi all, have read a couple of threads on this and know its been done to death but could really do with some advice. Been contemplating replacing our back doors for 18 months now and really need to crack on and do it. Its a large Victorian house but newly renovated in last 10 years throughout the inside. Curent back doors are timber opening ones. Width is 3170mm and height is 2650mm. Really undecided between the 3 options above. Haven't actually looked at the doors yet but had some quotes. Have been quoted for a Raynaers CF77 triple glazed bifold at £4.2k fitted and a Schuco double glazed product at £4.8k. Any views on which is the better product? I'm a little confused between manufacturers ans suppliers....can Anyone enlighten me? Ideally i would like to find a supplier who has both bifolds and sliders so i can actually look and compare. I've come accross a company called Altitude Aluminium who does both bifold and sliding (they are in Chester so its a trek for me to get to them) any experience of them? Can anyone put me in touch with a local supplier to me (Worcestershire) but can do Bham, Glos etc.

I think the challenge you may have is that your doors are higher than average-more expense and may need extra steels for the wright. We look at bi gold-too much frame not enough glass. We looked at fold and slide which were nice but I didn't like the rubber edging to make them watertight. We are going for sliding doors from id systems in Norwich.
