Where can I find a wall sized shelving unit for TV, stereo and books?

I can find loads of lovely stuff on Pinterest from the states, but the only option over here seems to be an expensive IKEA combo which doesn't leave much room for the stereo and far too big a spot for the TV. Any suggestions?

We have an ikea Hemnes combination comprising bookcases, a TV bench and a bridging shelf. Works really well and looks a lot more expensive than it was!

Thanks Ham - did you design it yourself or did someone from Ikea help? I sort of know what we want but wouldn't feel confident buying on that basis.

We did it ourselves - measured up the wall and worked out what combination would fit. Happy to PM you a pic if you would like.

I would draw it out and get a local carpenter to do it. Bespoke is sometimes not as expensive as you expect

I'd second the local carpenter idea. We priced up various Ikea shelving experiences and all left a 10 cm gap at the end, or were 5 cm too short.
For slightly less cost we had a carpenter create something that fitted perfectly across and into the room. The shelves are all in the right places as I was there with various size books to say "it needs to fit this" and the cupboards are the correct depth because I had the things I wanted to go in them for him to measure against.

Having said that, I had to sand, prime and paint it all myself Hmm
