Can I have a rant about effing house selling

Our third buyer in 3 months has major finance issues and we are having to look for yet another buyer. I am so fed up with the whole thing I just want to move I am fed up of viewings estate agents etc.
I hate this house and just want to leave it and go to start again after an awful few years.

Well, to be honest, I think you've probably been screwed by the new lending rules. I expect there'll be a lot of people suddenly finding they don't qualify for the mortgage they would have got a few months ago.

Can you ask your estate agent what they're doing to vet potential buyers?

hang on in there. It's a terrible business, full of getting your hopes up and then only to have them destroyed.

Have faith. Houses do get sold - even if it takes a hell of a lot longer than you would want - and things WILL turn out for the best.

Good point Sand the onus should be with the EAs. So next time you get an offer - and let's face it, if you've had 3 offers already you're easily going to get more - make the EA work for their money. Ask them the awkward questions. Has the potential got a mortgage? Are they sure? really sure? You are paying them to sell your house. Make them work for their money.

Gosh, clearly a glass of wine has had a bad effect already.

We are trying to change ea's but are held for 2 weeks in contract due to not enough through the door and all the issues. its just so frustrating.
