Does anyone know if glass splash backs can be cut with a right angle??
The new kitchen is finished apart from this. The fitter did a template on Monday but yesterday I got a phone call telling me there is a problem. We've got upstands going up to the edge of the aga (which we already had). They are saying that the glass has to be cut with a radius edge on both sides of the upstand and then the gap filled with silicone which won't look good, or the glass will have to be I two pieces, the bottom part being about 5 cn high which wi end up looking like it's been cut too short then another bit stuck on to fill in the gap. I thought the whole point of glass was it being in one piece so it's easy to clean, no grout, silicone etc. Also there seems to be an issue with the glass going far enough behind the aga so we don't see the plaster, not because of heat but room in the gap they've left them selves to get the ass in Any one had similar problems?
