How long is a mortgage offer valid?

Hi all, we are currently on our 4th month after offer acceptance, everything is being chased constantly. I am staying to worry that our mortgage offer will bloody run out before competing and exchange (at this rate! )
Can anyone advise how long it would be valid for, I have a feeling it's 6 months but not sure. I think I mislaid the paperwork with that date on it

Your solicitor should be able to tell you if he has the offer doc

Ours was six months and they agreed to a 2 month extension on the same deal (Accord).

It as stated on our mortgage offer. If you're still not sure, do check with your solicitor or mortgage company. If you've only got a month or so, tell the agents to inform others in chain your offer runs out soon. We had five months on ours, our buyer had a year and someone else in chain only had two months - so all mortgage companies are different. We had a delay in our chain and immediately everyone was ready we had to complete within 10 days before the two month offer ran out.
