Our hallway and understairs area is spacious enough to use for purposes other than chucking school bags and buggy storage but I don't know where to start! I can't afford to get a carpenter in to build something so am looking for nifty ideas that I can implement myself and don't cost the earth. Currently it's just open under the stairs with some hooks for coats and a rack for shoes. Pretty drab but I'm sure it could be so much more! Help!
