Tell me about Pangbourne

After a day spent looking at possible areas within our budget with housing stock and schools that we like the look of, Pangbourne in Berkshire seems to tick most of our boxes. Not too far from Oxford, on the line to London, and affordable. Can anyone tell us what it's like to live in?

We occasionally walk in the area and it's pretty, has a few good shops etc. It, and Whitchurch Hill are on our list of places we may move to when we sell ours, so bumping for you in case anyone can tell us what its like to live there
