Hi all. DH and I are planning on moving and trying to decide whether to move within London (expensive for family home) or take the plunge and move out of London. We're planning on trying for kids soon. We both work in London so would be commuting (although I'm not 100% I'd go back to work as would like to be a SAHM). Don't want train into London to be more than 45mins.
Just trying to gauge people's thoughts on commuting and where people would recommend (or not recommend). I grew up in North Bucks with my Dad commuting into Euston. My parents still live there so I don't want to be too far from them (i.e. no more than 90mins drive). We'd ideally like a small town rather than a village as would still like some amenities. Places we're thinking about are: Amersham, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Berkhamsted. Any advice greatly received!
