Out of control garden

Hi, we are buying a house where their is no 'owner' as such, it's been taken over by a business by the look of it. The sales going ok so far but with knowone living there the gardens getting way out of control. Since we first viewed it a few months ago it's really overgrown, think ivy everywhere, you can't see the fence panels now and huge bushes. (I keep going to look)

Do you think we could ask the estate agent to see if they can get it sorted? If the sale takes another few months it's going to be like a jungle!

You can ask.

If you want to tackle the ivy, cut it at ground level and it will die off further up and be easier to remove.

I think I'll ask and see what they say, I don't want money off, just them to tackle the garden!
