Rerouting tiles

Hello, I wonder if anyone has successfully managed to do this? The tiles look as though they're over filled - flat to the tiles - so there's a lot to be done. I worry about scratching the tiles. Would a tiler be willing to do it or would it be too small a job - approx 10'x 5'

You can get grout removers - with either fixed teeth or a little wheel of teeth that you work between the tiles to scrape it out. They are not expensive. So, you could either have a go and removing some grout yourself and re-grout and see whether you think it is doable/successful or ask a tiler or a handyman to have a look and give a quote.

My gut feeling is that a tiler will not really want to do that kind of job - it's possibly more the kind of thing a handyman would be happy to do as it doesn't require skill whereas tiling does and is chargeable at a higher rate and is less fiddly.
