Internal wall insulation costs???

Hi there,
We have had an offer accepted on a Victorian semi with no cavity walls. We have been trying to find out some idea as to the cost of getting internal wall insulation installed and what exactly is involved.
The rooms have 9 ft ceilings there are 6 walls approx 3.5 metres in width. There are windows and fire places in 2 of the rooms so it would be really helpful just to have a very rough guide.
Many thanks in advance :-))

We are doing some internal insulation at the moment, We have to have a breathable room as the building is lime based so are using Homatherm boards which are very eco, you basically bond and pin this board to the internal walls (removing any skirting, dado rails, radiators etc) here is a good link for prices - thenaturalbuildingcentre.co.uk/product/homatherm-choosing-the-right-boards/

Then plaster over the top, there is an argument to not use extra insulation as you more the dew point of the wall further in and some would not insulate and just use a hemp lime coat to re plaster and semi insulate at the same time . You prob need to see what your walls/mortar are like when you move in and decide.

Thank you for your reply, I will look into the re plastering option as I am concerned regarding the reduction in room size and the cost of the outlay as they seem high- I think that lime mortar has been used...:-)
