...with a door in the back bay. This sort of thing?

I'm trying to get an idea of what the curtain drop might be. ie can I use my lovely and expensive and recently purchased curtains in my new house? Smile

Sorry - tried to load photo but doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

I do - the drop to the window sill (which juts out and prevents my putting up full length curtains) is 165 cm.

I do. But no idea of drop I think 235cm as dune mill blackout linings at 220cm are too short even unhemmed but not by too much.

Hopefully the photo will work now.

Thanks Poppy - the curtains will have to go to the floor because of the door, but I also have a bay in the front of the house with a window sill like yours so for Plan B - I could always get someone else to shorten them and make cushions covers out of the left over.

My curtains are 90" drop (sorry - I'm old!) which I think is around 230cm(?) so from what passthecheese says - I might just make it!
