Marketing a property again after sale falling through

Some advice would be much appreciated please! We sold our flat in London 3 months ago, and the day after we found a house to move to, our buyers pulled out. So we need to sell again, ideally as soon as possible so we don't lose the house we want to buy.

Our EA has sent out an email to their registered buyers, and changed our listing on the property portals. My issue is that our property has not gone out again in any alerts through the property portals as apparently only new properties go out in alerts. We also appear very far down in the order in any search results (by most recent) as the date we originally listed, rather than the date we went back on the market. We've had zero interest in the first week through RM, Zoopla, etc. and no viewings booked yet, which I believe is because we aren't being seen online.

This just seems a bit unfair to me - how are any potential buyers supposed to know we're back on the market unless they're registered with our EA, or they scroll down past 3 months worth of property listings to find us?

What can we do to market our property better and be seen in recently for sale properties, and go out in alerts, apart from going with a different EA?

That's awful :(

Where in London are you? Is there a local twitter account (ie Awesomestow, ForestGreat etc) who you could ask to tweet to their followers? People property hunting will usually follow those accounts for local news.

Other than that, can the EA not remove and relist the property to show it at the top?

Are you tied in to that one EA?

Normally round here when something has been under offer and then comes back on the market it goes back to the top of the listing. I know because I was often first on the phone to the agent when this happened! Speak to your agent!

We were in a similar situation last week and the house went back on as a new property so to speak, chase up your agents this is basic stuff they should be able to do

Get your EA to do completely new listings on the portals and delete the old ones.

This happened to us. It's horrible! We just rang our agents and basically stressed how we urgently needed more viewings, implied we might go with another agent etc. Good luck. Also agree it should show up as a new property on rm etc. Ours did.

Same happened to us 3 weeks ago We had an open day straight away with all the people who viewed it in April. We sold it that day so there is hope :)
