Rubber topped flat roof vs fibreglass

Has anyone recently replaced a flat roof and been offered this choice? Every roofer I have met recently has waxed lyrical about the system that they are most familiar with, and rubbished the other, which hasn't helped me!
FWIW, we will add a sun tunnel, improve the insulation and are considering solar PV as well.

we have rubber sheet. hadn't heard about other options, but ours is fine so far

Thanks Parietal. The thing that gf roofers has said is that it's a problem in high winds - can lift the sheet like a sail if any gaps; also easy to damage if walking across it for eg maintenance purposes of aircon or solar panels or soffits or whatever. Did you get given any such caveats when deciding? Were you offered a choice of fibreglass or rubber?
Thanks!

we weren't given any choice - I think the person I spoke to only did rubber.
our roof has 1ft high edges all the way around, then flat in the middle, so I think lifting in the wind is unlikely, and I hadn't heard of that as a problem.

i've heard of rubber on other properties but never fibreglass.
