Can anyone recommend a loft conversion builder in Bromley?

Hi all,

Expecting twins in November and so we are moving from our maisonette. We have just had an offer accepted on a great two bed house. The current owners did a slightly shoddy job on the loft conversion, no building regs and so hence why it's a two and not three bed house. Really keen to get some quotes on what it would cost to have the work on the loft done properly. No doubt we will need to have a fire door or improve the access as it's a rickety and very steep wooden staircase at the moment!

Can anyone recommend a firm in Bromley or south east that does this kind of work?

We are having ours done at the moment. We are in BR3, so not far from you. In my area (where every other person has had their loft done), the builders used have been:
Stanley Investments
Progetto
Maple lofts
Dulwich lofts (less use them, but they are who we went with).

Hi there - know a great builder based in Orpington who does lofts - Tony Trott is his name from a company called The House Works - he does fantastic work, has a great bunch of guys working for him and is very reliable.
His website shows lots of lovely work - worth a look.

Yes I second Tony Trott - he has done an amazing job on a friend's house and we are going to use him for a kitchen extension (when we finally move, but that is another thread!)
