Our survey was done on the 16th June and still has no mortgage offer , on top of this the broker who isn't chasing the bank and solicitor who doesn't give any updates, stressed out atm

That's really not that long. It can easily take longer than that so don't panic.

That's rubbish. I'm feeling impatient (delayed searches) but I have the finance and my solicitor is very communicative. The whole business is painful and utter anguish. Keep hassling the solicitor and broker (they are working for you) and try to switch off to the process best you can. Eventually it will be over.

It's all so bloody stressful, isn't it?! I feel like just staying put rather than moving because of the stress!

we waited 4-5 weeks from survey to mortgage offer :-( They kept coming back wanting yet another bit of paperwork (all of which we could have given them at the start) so I don't think 10 days sounds too long bearing in mind the MMR etc
