In the midst of buying a dormer bungalow which has a room on the ground floor with a flat room. Our plan is to extend across the top and we are trying to gauge if this is easier/ cheaper than a ground floor extension. Its had planning permission to do this in the past, and we have reason to believe the foundations will be fine.
