Hi,

We need to have the hall papered above the dado rail only (wood paneling below doesn't need attention) and wonder roughly how long it might take a decorator to do. The walls are covered with good quality lining paper which has been emulsioned so there's no prep to do. Any guesses as to cost? The last (top quality) emulsion we used gave a horrible patchy finish which looks awful from certain angles and in certain lights otherwise we wouldn't be having the work done. Hope this makes sense! Thank you!

Really depends on how big the hall is?

Our decorator was super speedy getting wall paper up so I can't imagine it would take long unless it was really huge?

Thank you. Yes I should have added that it's only a small hall. I may find that many wouldn't take on such a small job!

It depends if the paper you want put up will be patterned or plain, if it's plain not very long at all but if it's patterned it may take quite a bit longer.
