Is there anyone out there moving next week? If so, how are you getting on with everything? I've sorted out insurance and notified the utilities. I have a long list of letters to print out when I can face that, although, I still have more to notify. Luckily we're redirected our mail for a year.
I'm doing the packing myself as I want to know what essentials there are in each box. Have done most of conservatory, living room, dining room, our bedroom and now on dd's bedroom. Still have to do kitchen, hall and landing cupboards, shed and get xmas decoration down from loft. We will take beds apart at weekend and disconnect washing machine on Tuesday. Today I've noticed there are certain things I've overlooked to pack which we are taking with us, some lightshades, special hooks on doors etc. I have four days to finish it and have allowed Tuesday for last minute things (we are moving on Wednesday).
Still waiting to hear from solicitor the final amount we have to pay. In all fairness, the bill from the agents has only arrived today. Have the money in our account ready to bank transfer to solicitor.
