Thoughts on back to wall/wall hung toilet? Which cistern to choose?

As opposed to close-coupled toilets?

Do you have one? Where did you get it from?

I'm looking at Roca Nexo. And how on earth do we choose a cistern? Is there any cistern that is almost as good as Grohe without Grohe's price tag? Local bathroom dealer was trying to sell me a Grohe cistern.

Thanks for thoughts!

Geberit are always rated good for cisterns/flushes.

Sorry meant to add that unfortunately I expect that they won't be much different in price from the Grohe one though.

Do you mind me asking if you have Geberit? (if so, which one?)

Is Fluidmaster a bit more solid than 'you get what you pay for' price seems to imply?

Sorry I don't have a Geberit myself but every plumber I know thinks that the brand it good quality & reliable. They are also extremely easy to fix if they do go wrong. I've spec'ed them for a few jobs on this basis.
From experience cheap units can be a waste of money as they don't flush well & they can cause lots of swearing when they break (our old house came with a cheap generic one that was impossible to fix or get at to replace)
