White good for utility- what would you choose out of these 2 options?

We are buying a house with utility.

It has a under counter space and a full height space so typically I was going to put the washing machine under the counter and get a full height fridge/freezer (the kitchen already has a small under counter fridge)

Then I thought about just getting an under counter freezer only and then stacking a washing machine with tumble dryer on top.

I've never had a tumble dryer (use a lakeland heated airer)

What would you do?

Get rid of the counter and have both. But if you've managed before without a tumble drier I imagine you don't need one. ( I couldn't live without mine though ).

I have a purpose built tall cupboard for the washing machine, below, and the dryer on top. I don't trust stacking kits. My cupboard is very robust and looks attractive because it matches the rest of the laundry room units. I have a freezer in the kitchen so use my under counter space in the laundry for a wine fridge. I also have hanging space in the laundry with coat hangers for things that are not tumble dried. This has proved to be very useful and I recommend it to anyone. I would buy a freezer for your under counter space as you will be really fed up running out to a fridge all the time! I do have the luxury of two tall fridges in the kitchen though which, together, have a bigger capacity than an American fridge freezer. I find this works well for me and I would be tempted to see if you can get a bigger fridge for the kitchen. I could not live without a tumble dryer or a large fridge!

I'd have both as Pinkje suggests.

Stacking kits are good - they usually require both washer and dryer to be same make, but I bet you can get universal ones these days too. The way they work it would be very difficult for the dryer to come off the top.
