Best place to buy a bathroom suite

I have 3 to buy - family bathroom and 2 shower rooms.

Went to Porcelanosa today and though the stuff was lovely the prices were a shock! Review online are pretty dire too.

I've never fitted a bathroom, let alone 3, and don't know where to start - I want the designer look, and don't mind spending a bit, but want to know I am getting quality (£2k a room) plus tiles. Any recommendations gratefully received!

Whereabouts are you? I like independent bathroom merchants like Burge and Gunson (they are in colliers wood) - lots of different brands and the staff will give independent advice on what would work best. Or you can buy online at loads of places, though I like to see stuff first.
