Anyone bought 4th property in chain, what time did you get keys?

We are buying the fourth property up in our chain. Just wondering what time anyone else whose bought the fourth property in the chain got their keys. I'm half assuming it's going to be approx. 3.30pm. There is another property after ours, so obviously solicitors will need to be on the ball with transfer of monies.

We weren't in a chain at all and couldn't have them til 330.

We only had a chain of 2 and we got our at 3!

Thank you for your replies (so far). I've only ever been the first to purchase in the chain and it's usually been around 11.30am, so am certainly expecting it to be much later.

Yes, 3:30 PM.

Fwiw all solicitors in our chains went off for lunch from 1-2 so nothing happened in that time.

MrsJohnDeere, yes, I half thought not much would happen at lunch. Our removers say they'll leave at noon, so will finish off hoovering/cleaning and try and ask before lunch when we drop the keys off - the same agent is acting in our sale and purchase. There is a pub literally two mins walk away, so think we'll have lunch and then it's easy to pop down and ask again. Luckily there are a lot of shops close to the agent, so easy to keep ourselves busy and we can leave our car outside our new house as it's only 5 mins away.

we were 4th in the chain and had to hand ours keys over at about 1, got keys for new house at 3 ish

The average timescale seems to be 3-3.30pm which is what I was expecting. I know you can claim back extra expenses, but we've paid a late waiver fee to our removers so we don't have them jumping up and down on the day.
