Moving to Warrington area with dogs, advise of any good area?

We are moving to Warrington area for work reasons and we have two dogs with us. I will be working at the Daresbury Labs and we are looking for a safe and good area to live.
Some people recommended us to live in an area close to a Waitrose supermarket because are the safest areas to live, however we have not found any in the area. It would be also great to have shops and pubs close by specially if there are pet friendly.
We are coming from Edinburgh with plenty of pet friendly restaurants, pubs and shops and we would like to find something similar?
Are we looking for something impossible?
Please, any advice would be much appreciated.
Our renting budget would be ~£900

Hi - We live in appleton which is not too far from daresbury. We are 1 mile form stockton heath which has loads of pubs restaurants etc. There are also lots of parks, fields etc to walk your dog.
The nearest Waitrose is in Northwich but appleton, grappenhall, daresbury sound more up your street!

Culcheth is 15 miles from Daresbury and is a lovely village with pubs, restaurants and surrounded by fields / farmland.

Moore is pretty and close to Daresbury but only has one (possibly two) pubs so perhaps not quite what you are looking for.

Stockton Heath and Lymm have plenty of restaurants, shop etc and are "naice" areas, also Grappenhall, Appleton close by. All have plenty of green space for dog walking. Have a look at Chester too, I don't know the city that well but it may be more what you are after and easily commutable to Daresbury labs.

Personally I would avoid Runcorn, there are nicer places to live round about.

I live in Stockton Heath and anywhere around this area would suit what you're after. I'd look at Appleton, Stretton, Grappenhall and over to Lymm.
