New build - changing radiators in bathrooms

We've bought a new build house which will be completed in Sept/Oct. We want chrome towel radiators, but refuse to pay the builder's price (650 for one! We need 4), so we bought our own, and thought we could pay the plumber on site to fit ours instead of theirs.

Apparently, they're no longer allowed to turn a blind eye to things like this, so we have to have the standard radiators on, and so we'll need to take them off when we get the keys.

My question is - how easy is it to remove the tiles that will be damaged and replace them (especially if we get the tiler on site/a tiler in general to do it)?

The site manager has said he will leave us extra tiles as he knows our plans, but still, what a pain!

Also, can anyone think of any other way to get round this? We're not happy with the 'just fill in the existing holes in the tiles - you'll never see them!'.
