Been ready to exchange over a month ourselves. Just heard problems in chain has been sorted, can't exchange yet but we all need to complete by 25 June. We are away 12-16 June (it was arranged last year and is something special, with four other families involved so can't be changed). Meant to be away following weekend for my Uncle's 80th, but think we will have to forget this.
So I've said if completion is to take place we need to know by this Friday (before we go away) to make sure house insurance is put in place (our lenders need details of this before they will release our mortgage monies) and to confirm removers.
I've provisionally booked a remover and they will deliver boxes when we're back next Wednesday (assuming we've confirmed in the meantime). Am about to start making a list of who to notify. Will get last few items down from loft, try and sort out things in shed and what will have to be a final grass cut. Is there anything else I can provisionally do in the meantime?
