Large round coffee table - opinions and suggestions please

Hi. I think I would like a round coffee table of about 1 metre diameter at least. My sitting room is fairly large and I have two brown aged leather sofas forming an L shape but without touching each other and with quite a large space in the middle. I have noticed that large round coffee tables are notoriously difficult to find. Is this for a reason? Anybody know where I could get one? Also, should it have 4 chunky legs or a short stumpy pedestal? The overall look I'd like it to be aged and kind of industrial almost, nothing too polished or shiny. Thanks everyone.

this one from Dwell is 80cm but opens up larger , so you get the best of both. space and table, when you need it .

Thank you Tabitha. That table is way too sleek for me. I'd like something more rugged and rustic. Definitely wood.

Look up pebble table by Ligne Roset. That's the one I've seen in living etc and would love to own. Think it is about 1 metre across and comes in convex or concave. Pricey though, at least £1,000.

Heals sell them for 1,600 so definitely an investment piece!
