hi everyone my family and i are in council and looking at a house exchange we have been offered one in dartford the house it self is really nice throughout how ever i dont know the area so can anyone share info with me? i currently live in west london thanks

Don't have any specific knowledge (sorry!) about Dartford- it's an area we're trying to find out about too as planning a move from SE London further out.

I have friends in Dartford and Gravesend. Avoid anywhere too close to the town centre and stay clear from Temple Hill. It really is awful.

On visiting my friend I took a wrong turn and ended up in Temple Hill. Residents had fridges and junk in their front gardens.

Look at houses with the DA2 postcode.

thank you Openup41 the good news is the house does come up on the da2 postcode phew so thats okay although slightly concerned as the area/town does not sound that good

having looked into the area more today i have decided its very built up so not going for it thank you all
