Aaaaggghhh. Bloody solicitor now telling me they are waiting for responses from vendor's solicitor despite them confirming to me on 20th May that there was nothing outstanding . Why are they doing this to me???

kick up a BIG stink. Phone every hour, demand to know why you were lied to, stand on their desk if they are near enough. Speak to the boss if there is one.

We had this, the solicitor had our money for 2 weeks. I wonder what happens to the interest?

Our solicitors have taken our money but i don't think they've actually checked whether the sellers are ready to exchange yet - surely they are supposed to do this?!
