How much to have a porch built?

Just that really. We are looking to get one done when we move to our new house. We do know a builder so it may be cheaper than normal prices as he is a friend who owes us a favour anyway. not in the South East so not really expensive.

Ours cost around £1.5 from a builder. 1.2 square metres, double glazed door and window. All electrics including security light. Decorated and dirt resistant mat floor.

We are rebuilding our porch and it is costing £10k! SE though.

Wow! Hope its more in the price of the first answer and not the second, although not being in the SE should mean it isn't that expensive.

Anyone else?
