The house we are buying has a shed running the length of the house. Many of the houses in the street have converted this into a utility room and we are planning to as well. It is approx. 1.3m wide and over 5m long. It is built on and made of same material as the house (so not like a wooden shed). On the survey it has come up that this needs a new roof so we need to factor that in. We will need to have a UPVC door put on, a window put in and the wall (1.3m) taken down so we can access it from the kitchen. We aren't in the South East so no crazy expensive prices but does anyone have a vague idea how much we should budget for this?
Obviously we need to have plumbing for a washing machine, a radiator and proper lights put in as well.
