Seriously rookie question but

I'm in a rush (which is bad....) and I need to choose a paint for the woodwork by Monday. Where can I go to actually look at some paint in london rather than have to rely on samples being sent which takes too long? I thought I had longer ... The walls are going to be dulux ivory lace which is basically off white and I just need to sort a darker shade for the woodwork. Help !

Where in London are you? You can buy samples from plenty of diy stores.

Cool thanks. I wasn't sure if b and q would be just pots of paint without opportunity to look. We Re in east london

It is best to get samples. They never look the same on a bit of card in a shop compared to when you put them in your own room!

You need samples. I just bought a whole bunch from B&Q and they are very different to the brochures and the painted wood bits in store.
