We are about to lay the floor in a new pine summerhouse and need advice on the best finish for the floorboards. We'd like as little colour change as possible from the original wood. Is varnish or oil better? I like an oiled finish but am concerned that garden dirt would get ground in. Any advice would be appreciated.
