Has anyone had sash windows refurbished or replaced? I am thinking about costs and would do them gradually

Particularly in West Midlands

We had some of ours done about 3 years ago (not all as would have been too expensive). A single window in the back bedroom was just under £1k and the double at the front was about £2k to do a full refurb. Very pleased with the result, they looked great, were easy to open and close, and it helped cut out noise levels from outside. Not in W Midlands though, that was South East.
