I'm about to have the Tewksbury Stone kitchen with black slate worktop from Howdens fitted in my south facing kitchen. I have solid oak wood flooring and now need to decide which of the 132 farrow and ball colours would work well with the stone colour cabinets. I also have to decide on a tile colour.

I'm tearing my hair out .... well not quite ...... but can't look at the colour card any longer after spending much of the weekend staring at it!!

Please inspire me / suggest colours.

I posted in home and decoration also but read this place is good for paint advice.....

Thanks...

I have Pointing in my kitchen. It works with more or less everything. Or Mizzle might be good. I have this in a bathroom and it is a great colour to go with beige/stone colours.
I assume you mean splash back tiles. I would go for tiles of a similar colour to the F and B ones I have mentioned. I am sure Fired Earth or Porcelanosa would have something suitable. I have an island hob but my sink splash back is a mirror. Obviously it does not get greasy. If you have a F and B shop near you, pop in, and they will help.

Pointing is good. I have used it in the past but not in my kitchen. Mizzle I like the look of, does it look a little blue at times? Not overly keen on bluish tones for the kitchen. I do have a f&b shop nearby - I will have to make a trip tomorrow. I need to let the decorator know Tuesday morning!

Thanks M.
