Sofa beds - recommendations please.

I'm downsizing and it looks likely I'm going to need a sofa bed. I'm prepared to pay any amount for one that is comfortable as a bed and a sofa. Any recommendations? Its really hard to make an assessment looking on line!

Try out the Ikea ones, some of them use real mattresses.

We've got a one from John Lewis called - Charlotte I think.
It's comfy as a sofa and my friends assure me they've had a good nights sleep on it. We've only had it 9mths but so far so good

we have one from next.
in addition we use a memory foam topper (only half an inch thick and folds away quite small).

We have a nice Habitat one which we use as our main sofa. Comfy as both a bed and a sofa.
