"Open to offers"

We are going to view loads of houses this weekend and there's one which looks fantastic - it went on the market at £599,950 in March 2013 and was reduced to £564,950 a month ago but has a big red "open to offers" on its Rightmove listing. Do you reckon they are looking for £550k at this point? The EA said they had no idea, just encouraged us to go along and look.

I'd say probably anywhere between £525 & £550k - but you'll never know unless you actually make an offer. Considering it's been on the market for over a year, then I'd say they might be a little bit less choosy.

I'd certainly offer at below £550,000 as there usually come negotiating involved and you'll need to go up.
