Boxing in a Soil vent pipe

We had a new front door fitted yesterday and to fit the frame properly the guy had to remove some Plywood boxing next to it. We discovered this was hiding the soil vent pipe from the bathroom. We only moved in a few months ago so discovering all sorts!

My question is we obviously want to box it in again but do we need to have access to it? Or can we plasterboard box it and plaster over it.?

Box it in and forget about it.

fab. Our plasterer came today and said the same so will look so much nicer than the dodgy boxing in that we inherited.

Ours is boxed in as it comes through the conservatory. I can't imagine it's something you often need access to and you could just remove the plasterboard if you did ever need to get to it for some reason.
