A house has just come the market on the road next to me, I always liked it from the outside and wondered what the interior is like - it's hideous!!

Do you think it's a bargain?

Ceilings are truly horrid. Nothing warm and cosy about this house Grin

pictish · 21/05/2014 06:43

Gosh yes...it's nasty. The house that taste forgot.

hyperspacebug · 21/05/2014 14:23

I don't have visceral reaction - I am all 'nice house, just not my taste'. I just know of other countries who might appreciate this style.

hyperspacebug · 21/05/2014 14:23

Yes, home made to be Asian style.

onceipopicantstop · 21/05/2014 19:53

Can't believe the builder didn't talk them out of this crap design, one bathroom ! needs knocking down and starting again

SpottieDottie · 21/05/2014 20:48

I like the bath/shower. I think the rest 'has potential'

Jamdoughnutfiend · 21/05/2014 21:17

Am feeling vindicated - if I had that kind of money I would buy this:

Is just down the road in and far nicer than this

I'm just gobsmacked at the prices. I know there are loads of threads about the London property market, but that is just nuts. Can't believe either of those could be worth over £1 million Shock

Jamdoughnutfiend · 21/05/2014 21:33

QoT: I live in a very average suburb too - nice but nothing notable, has gone a bit mad lately because of crossrail

In that case I'm very very grateful that we're able to live and work in the North West!

Period properties are more my thing, so I was never going to like your first one, inside or out. I think the red kitchen is quite nice, though (not with that floor), but DH would never let me have one like that!

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 21/05/2014 22:08

It's very glitzy, not to my taste. Not clicked on the second house yet...

pinkdelight · 22/05/2014 09:32

You've just reminded me, I saw this the other day whilst idly searching. Dunno if it's been 'done' on here before, but check out p3. Do my eyes deceive me or is someone hiding around the corner behind the door?? The dalmations add a stately touch though. Not a horror show, just strange. Would love the maze.

Sorry to go off on a tangent. But whilst we're all porning, eh?

The Ealing house, however... just... no!

WillieWaggledagger · 22/05/2014 09:35

all that money on the interior and nothing spent on the garden?

WillieWaggledagger · 22/05/2014 09:40

also, apparently no adult beds
