Calling Lincolnshire - thinking of moving there

We are considering relocating to be nearer family in Lincolnshire but they don't have children so would really appreciate some 'insider knowledge, specifically on the grammar schools. Also, nice places to live but not too remote. What are the following towns like, Louth, Horncastle or Boston? TIA

Ooh a friend lives there, Louth is great - have you posted on the local talk? I'd move there in second if I could, lovely houses, nice countryside and lots for kids to do. Can't advise about specific schools except they're very happy about the grammar schools and lots of nice village primaries.

I have family in Alford, quite near Louth. A nice market town and Grammar school there is really good, I think. They are also only a short drive to excellent beach, Anderby Creek.

Hi. We’re thinking of moving to Louth. Is there anyone on here who currently lives in Louth and can tell me if there are any areas/streets to avoid when buying a house? Also we have a 10 year old daughter (11 in August) who is due to start secondary school in September. Can anyone recommend schools? Thank you x
