Calling all plumbers! Can you tell me what we should expect to get charged for this work...

... please?

Our boiler has sadly passed away, and I am very sad as I resemble Bear Grylls hollering in a freezing cold shower.

As there is an existing boiler, all the plumbing, holes for flue (??) etc are there, a plumber did try to fix it and when he said it prob needs new one it would 'be a bobbys job that, all the holes are there, its just a swap over'

We want a Worcester Bosch boiler (3O watts or valve or something..?) putting in... so what should be reasonable for a plumber to charge to supply and fit the boiler?

Boring question, but not sure if we will get higher quotes because we obviously need it doing!

Thanks!

Had ours done last year, combi failed again.... replaced it with a Baxi, boiler, cost about £700, fitting was £800 with new flue, new water cleaner and magnaclean, there is also a lot of paper work for the gas guy to do to get your certificate - Worcester/vaillant are both fab makes IMO, (we are based in Bath)
