Porcelain timber tiles for outside. Any good?

Hello, we are thinking to use the same porcelain timber effect tiles inside (kitchen) and outside (patio) our extension. We will have a large sliding door with the same level screed on both sides for those tiles to be laid on.
My question is: has anybody used porcelain timber effect tiles outside? It will have the look of a decking but with no maintenance and longer durability as it will not rot. However I am worried about the frost and even if we use a flexible adhesive, would we get cracked tiles? Have not come across anybody with porcelain timber effect tiles for their patio.. good or bad idea? Thank you for your advice ??

We have the same tiles in our kitchen and patio garden. (Same size and colour , same range but interior and exterior versions of the same thing.) However I think you need to find tiles which do specifically exterior versions. Not just because frost but slippiness. Our outdoor ones have a rougher surface. I am not sure it would be a good idea to put indoor tiles outside.
