If anyone can recommend places/villages to live in Reading that have great commuter links into London please share.
Looking for a 4 bed around 500k but don't know where to start.
Thank you Smile

Woodley/Earley and Shinfield are nice. Earley station goes into Waterloo.

Caversham is lovely too, lower Caversham is walking distance to the main station. Try to get Caversham Primary catchment.

Twyford? Train station takes you into paddington in 30min on fast trains. Infant, primary and secondary schools all good or outstanding in the area. £500k should be doable in Twyford.

Caversham, Twyford or Goring and Streatley all come to mind. There are a couple of nice 4/5 beds in Caversham at the moment for around the £530K mark.

Caversham is great, good schools, restaurants, independent shops and lots to do.

Caversham and some of Tilehurst. Stretching out to Newbury area can be very nice, but you are looking about an hour on the train.
